As a New Account Representative/Teller , you'll play a key role in helping customers open new accounts, recommend products and services, and handle everyday banking transactions with accuracy and professionalism. What You'll Do Build Customer Relationships Welcome customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service. Open personal and business deposit accounts and explain available banking products and services. Identify customer needs and recommend solutions such as debit cards, online banking, safe deposit boxes, and other deposit products. Refer lending opportunities to the appropriate banking professionals. Answer questions, resolve concerns, and create a positive banking experience. Support Daily Branch Operations Process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and other teller transactions accurately and efficiently. Balance your cash drawer and maintain accurate records. Assist with ATM balancing, night depository processing, and other operational duties. Perform account maintenance, including updates to customer information. Lead by Example Provide guidance and support to tellers when needed. Assist with supervisory approvals and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations. Help maintain smooth branch operations and support the team in delivering outstanding customer service. Maintain Security and Compliance Follow all bank policies and regulatory requirements. Assist with opening and closing branch procedures. Process official checks and wire transfers according to established procedures. Help maintain secure cash handling and vault operations as assigned.
