Job Description

Role:
To assist members with their financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments, to include scanning, updating and closing member accounts.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; sells money orders and cashier checks to members; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed. Balances cash drawer and daily transactions. Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning services and directs members to appropriate department for specific information and service. Post transactions to member accounts and maintain member records. Cross-sells credit union services.
Performance Measurements:
To provide friendly, professional, personal service to all members and coworkers. To comply with United Credit Union's cash balancing policy. To strive for posting accuracy, having no more than one posting error per quarter. To satisfactorily complete all required compliance training and comply with all regulations which apply within the scope of this position. To be knowledgeable on the features and benefits of all credit union products and services When not busy with members, evaluate what additional tasks need completed and help team members who could benefit from your assistance. To troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely, friendly and accurate manner. To maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness
Pay:
$17.25 - $23.77 per hour
