Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bank Teller to join our team. This position will float between our Amelia and Powhatan locations as needed. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while managing cash transactions and supporting daily banking operations. This position requires strong cash handling skills, basic math proficiency, and the ability to build lasting relationships with customers. Duties Process customer transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers. Manage cash handling responsibilities, ensuring all transactions are balanced at the end of each shift. Utilize financial software to maintain accurate records of transactions and customer accounts. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Assist in sales activities by promoting bank products and services to customers. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to bank policies and procedures. Support relationship management efforts by fostering positive interactions with customers. Qualifications Previous experience in cash management or cash handling is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients. Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Familiarity with financial software and cash register operations is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for relationship management. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
