Do you desire to work and enjoy a career with a highly regarded financial institution? Apply to become a teller at Educators Credit Union! Provide an exceptional service experience to members while assisting them with their financial transactions. Follow our core values (honesty, integrity, fairness, respect and excellence) in all actions with members and coworkers. Receive and process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed. Welcome members and provide routine information concerning services. Directs members to appropriate departments for specific information and services. Educate and advise members regarding credit union products and services. Post transactions to member accounts and maintain member records. Balance cash drawer and daily transactions. Perform a variety of miscellaneous tasks, including typing, filing, computer input, and answering the telephone. Other duties as assigned.
Experience:
One month to twelve months of similar or related experience.
Education:
A high school education or GED.
Other Skills:
Must have a professional and enthusiastic attitude and also needs to like to help people. Written and verbal fluency in the required languages.
Interpersonal Skills:
Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information. Must be available to work Saturdays. Varied days/hours based on business needs. 30+ hours = 30 to 39 hours/week.
