This is a temporary position with a minimum commitment of 90 days, possibly up to a year. Based on performance, business needs, and mutual fit, the role may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time, permanent position. However, full-time employment is not guaranteed. Teller duties include, but are not limited to:
ASSIST MEMBERS WITH FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS SUCH AS RECEIVING DEPOSITS AND LOAN PAYMENTS. CASHING CHECKS AND PERFORMING WITHDRAWALS. RECORDING NIGHT AND MAIL DEPOSITS. SELLING CASHIER'S CHECKS AND MONEY ORDERS. CASHING SAVINGS BONDS ANSWER QUESTIONS FOR MEMBERS BY PHONE OR IN PERSON AND REFERRING CREDIT UNION SERVICES. ASCERTAIN MEMBER'S NEEDS AND DIRECT THEM WHEN NEEDED. COMPLETE ACCOUNT CLOSINGS, TAKE ORDERS FOR CHECKS, AND PROVIDE STATEMENTS AND COPIES. PERFORM DAILY CLOSING PROCEDURES SUCH AS DRAWER BALANCING, SHREDDING, LOCKING THE CREDIT UNION AND SETTING THE ALARM. MAY ALSO BE REQUIRED TO ASSIST MANAGEMENT WITH OTHER DUTIES.
