- Manage intercompany accounting — management fee allocations, gross profit transfers between entities, and consolidated eliminations
- Produce P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements that tie to cash
- Build lending packages for banks (normalized P&L with addbacks for non-recurring expansion costs)
- Evaluate and lead migration to enterprise-level accounting software appropriate for multi-entity construction operations
- Oversee a remote bookkeeper handling daily transaction entry
- Establish SOPs for branch-level financial reporting, commission calculations, and AP/AR
- Provide weekly financial updates to the CEO — bank balances, AR aging, credit positions, cash flow You need:
- 7+ years accounting experience, 3+ years as a controller or senior accountant
- Direct experience with multi-entity structures (holding companies, C-Corps, intercompany transactions)
- Strong QBO proficiency; experience with enterprise-level accounting platforms is a major plus
- Construction or trades industry experience preferred
- Ability to build financial models and lending packages
- Experience managing remote bookkeeping staff
- CPA preferred but not required This is not:
- A bookkeeping role — you oversee a bookkeeper
- A tax prep role — separate tax advisor handles filings
- A payroll role — separate payroll provider Screening Questions (Must be answered for consideration) 1.
Pay:
$100,000.00- $120,000.
