This role will oversee core accounting and financial reporting activities, helping ensure reliable financial information, strong compliance practices, and meaningful support for business decisions. The ideal candidate brings deep experience across close processes, budgeting, audit coordination, and day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports, including the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement, within established deadlines. Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency across accounting records. Manage accounting operations across accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and the general ledger while maintaining organized financial records. Lead the development of annual budgets and ongoing forecasts, and evaluate performance against plans through detailed variance analysis. Partner with leadership to provide financial insights that support strategic planning, operational decisions, and risk awareness. Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal control practices that support compliance and financial integrity. Coordinate with external auditors and assist with required filings and reporting obligations for public company environments. Monitor bank reconciliations, debt-related obligations, and the chart of accounts to support sound financial management. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 3 years of accounting or finance experience, with progressively increasing responsibility preferred. Strong background in financial statement preparation, review, and analysis. Experience supporting financial statement audits and working with external auditors. Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting. Understanding of internal controls, accounting procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements. Public company reporting exposure is preferred. CPA or similar accounting credential is strongly preferred.
