With operations spanning multiple sites the company offers a high-impact opportunity for a finance leader to oversee complex accounting operations, strengthen financial controls, and partner closely with executive and operational leadership to drive profitability, efficiency, and continued growth.

Responsibilities:

Lead accounting and financial reporting activities across a multi-site, global manufacturing organization and multiple legal entities. Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Manage general ledger accounting, reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and financial statement preparation. Oversee manufacturing and cost accounting, including standard costing, job costing, inventory valuation, work in process, overhead absorption, and variance analysis. Analyze material, labor, overhead, purchase price, freight, scrap, and other manufacturing variances, partnering with Operations on corrective actions. Oversee inventory controls, physical inventories, cycle counts, excess and obsolete inventory, adjustments, and manufacturing account reconciliations. Serve as the finance subject-matter expert for Epicor Kinetic, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial and operational data. Support budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, KPI development, external audits, internal controls, process improvement, and team development.

Must-Have Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Active CPA license required. Eight or more years of progressive accounting and finance experience in a manufacturing environment. Prior experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or equivalent senior accounting leader. Hands-on Epicor experience required. Experience overseeing accounting operations across multiple manufacturing sites and/or legal entities. Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting, including standard costing, job costing, inventory, work in process, overhead absorption, and variance analysis. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, month-end close, intercompany accounting, and consolidations. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience analyzing large data sets and financial reports. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and cross-functional communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience with international manufacturing operations, foreign entities, and global consolidations. Experience with Power BI, SQL, or other business intelligence tools. Background in engineered products, electronics, industrial manufacturing, contract manufacturing, or aerospace and defense. Experience improving ERP functionality, accounting automation, reporting processes, and operational efficiency. Demonstrated success partnering with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and executive leadership.
