Assistant Controller | Venture Capital Firm | Palo Alto; 1-3 days onsite Join a mission-driven investment platform focused on venture capital and early-stage companies. This is a great opportunity to join a lean, entrepreneurial team with broad exposure across fund accounting, reporting, investment operations, and investor activity. You'll work closely with experienced finance and investment professionals while taking meaningful ownership across the platform. + Support in-house fund accounting across investment vehicles and related entities

+ Prepare capital calls, distributions, and investor statements

+ Review monthly and quarterly NAV and administrator deliverables

+ Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense allocations

+ Partner with fund administrators on accounting and reporting

+ Support audit, tax, and compliance processes

+ Oversee separately managed accounts and related requirements

+ Venture capital, private equity, or alternative investment experience

+ Strong understanding of fund accounting, financial reporting, and capital activity

+ Strong ownership, communication, and organizational skills

+ Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
