Job Description
A well-established and rapidly growing construction company is seeking a Controller to join its executive leadership team. The company has experienced exceptional growth over the past several years and continues to expand into new markets. This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic and hands-on finance leader to partner with executive leadership and play a significant role in the company's continued growth and success. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Controller will serve as a trusted business partner, providing financial oversight, operational insight, and strategic guidance. The company offers the stability of an established business combined with the energy and opportunity of a rapidly growing organization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership responsibilities. Prior Controller or senior finance leadership experience. Strong construction, electrical contracting, engineering, or project-based industry experience. Extensive knowledge of job costing, WIP reporting, project accounting, and revenue recognition. Experience managing cash flow, forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning. Familiarity with union labor environments preferred. Proven ability to partner with executive leadership and influence strategic business decisions. Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
