Job Title:
Vice President of Finance Position Summary The Vice President of Finance is a key executive leadership role responsible for overseeing all financial operations of AWM. This individual will lead financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, cash flow management, banking relationships, reporting, and strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate combines hands-on financial leadership with the ability to drive company-wide strategic decision-making. This role will partner closely with executive leadership to improve profitability, support acquisitions and expansion efforts, optimize working capital, and establish scalable financial processes across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership & StrategyDevelop and execute the company's financial strategy in support of growth objectives. Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team. Provide analysis and recommendations regarding investments, acquisitions, expansion opportunities, and capital deployment.

Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and business decisions. Financial Planning & Analysis Lead annual budgeting processes across all business units. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts. Monitor KPIs and operational metrics across fulfillment, transportation, warehousing, and logistics functions. Deliver actionable reporting and performance insights to leadership. Accounting & Financial Reporting Oversee accounting operations, including: General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Payroll oversight Fixed Assets Revenue RecognitionEnsure timely and accurate monthly financial close processes. Manage preparation of financial statements and executive reporting packages. Maintain GAAP compliance and internal controls. Cash Flow & Treasury ManagementManage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning. Oversee banking relationships, debt facilities, and lender reporting.

Optimize working capital and cash conversion cycles. Develop strategies for financing growth initiatives and capital expenditures. Operational Finance Analyze profitability by customer, warehouse, program, and business unit. Partner with Operations leadership to improve margins and efficiencies.

Develop cost-control initiatives and performance dashboards. Support pricing models for new service offerings and strategic programs. Risk Management & ComplianceEnsure compliance with tax, regulatory, insurance, and financial reporting requirements. Establish and maintain strong internal controls and governance practices. Coordinate audits and external financial reviews.

LeadershipBuild, mentor, and lead the finance and accounting team. Create scalable financial processes and systems.

Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience. 5+ years leading finance functions in a senior leadership role. Experience managing multi-site operations and complex business environments.
Strong expertise in:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Cash Flow ManagementBudgeting & ForecastingStrategic FinanceFinancial ReportingAdvanced Excel and financial modeling skills.

Proven ability to partner with executive leadership and influence business decisions. Preferred CPA, CMA, or MBA.Experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, manufacturing, or distribution industries. Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or private equity-backed organizations. ERP implementation or financial systems optimization experience.
