Job Description

We are seeking a Controller to oversee the accounting and financial operations for a local, family-owned and operated agricultural business. This is a full-time permanent position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations as well as financial reporting and cash management across multiple related entities. The Controller serves as the organization's primary finance and accounting role, working closely with ownership and providing clear, practical financial insight to support operations and decision making. Responsibilities to include, but not limited to: Oversee accounting and financial reporting for operating and affiliated entities including month-end and year-end closing processes Maintaining general ledger accuracy and integrity Prepare and review monthly financial statements for management as well as annual budget Manage cash flow, including projection and funding decisions Serve as primary liaison with external tax accountants and bank administrators Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or a related field Minimum 5 years of accounting experience Agriculture or agribusiness experience preferred but not necessary Prior supervisory experience Experience with Famous Software preferred but not necessary Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel If you possess any of these qualities and are looking for a stable, long-term position with an established business we encourage you to apply.
