Controller - High-Growth Oil & Gas Services Company The Opportunity TLS Recruiting Client is a rapidly growing oil and gas services company focused on building a scalable financial infrastructure to support continued expansion, operational excellence, and strategic acquisitions. The organization is seeking a hands-on Controller who will take ownership of the accounting function, strengthen financial processes, and serve as a key business partner to executive leadership and operations teams. This is not a review-only position. The successful candidate will be actively involved in day-to-day accounting operations while enhancing systems, controls, reporting capabilities, and financial processes that support long-term growth. Accounting Leadership & Financial Reporting Lead all accounting operations and financial reporting activities. Continue the organization's transition toward full GAAP-compliant financial reporting. Develop and implement scalable accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Produce accurate monthly financial statements and management reports. Hands-On Accounting Operations Manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Cash Management, Reconciliations, and General Ledger activities. Oversee month-end and year-end close processes. Systems, Processes & ERP Management Evaluate and optimize accounting systems and workflows. Maximize ERP functionality, including Sage and future software solutions. Implement scalable processes that support growth and acquisitions. Inventory & Cost Accounting Develop and maintain inventory accounting processes. Improve project accounting and job-cost tracking. Implement purchasing controls and purchase order processes. Internal Controls & Operational Support Establish effective controls across office and field operations. Develop controls related to payroll, labor hours, fuel purchases, and operational spending. Identify risks proactively and implement solutions. Financial Planning & Analysis Maintain cash flow forecasting models. Develop revenue forecasting and profitability reporting. Create project-specific financial models and cost-center reporting. Mergers, Acquisitions & Growth Initiatives Support acquisition underwriting and due diligence. Assist with purchase accounting and post-acquisition integration. Develop scalable frameworks for expansion into new regions. Leadership & Collaboration Partner closely with executive leadership and operations teams. Recruit, develop, mentor, and lead accounting staff. Drive operational efficiency and profitability.
Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
$180,000 to $210,000.
Bonus Opportunity:
Up to 20% of base salary. Comprehensive benefits package and paid time off.
Pay:
$180,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
