Duties Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs using ERP systems to ensure accuracy and consistency with financial standards like GAAP. Conduct detailed cost accounting analysis, including cost variance analysis, budget comparisons, and cost reduction opportunities. Prepare comprehensive financial reports related to manufacturing expenses, highlighting key insights for management review. Reconcile general ledger accounts, balance sheets, accounts payable, and receivable records to maintain precise financial data. Perform cash flow analysis to support operational planning and identify potential financial risks or opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities utilizing spreadsheets and business intelligence tools. Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls by implementing internal audit procedures and maintaining meticulous documentation. Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing data trends using Excel data analysis techniques and providing actionable recommendations. Requirements Proven experience in accounting or finance within the manufacturing industry, with a strong understanding of cost management principles. Proficiency in accounting softwares Solid knowledge of financial concepts including GAAP standards, double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and technical accounting practices. Demonstrated ability in financial report writing, data collection, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting. Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel data analysis, spreadsheets management, and business intelligence tools. Experience with cost accounting analysis, budgeting processes, forecasting models, and financial report interpretation. Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements and public accounting standards is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to clearly interpret complex financial data for diverse audiences.
