Controller Greater Hartford, CT Salary:
$170,000 - $200,000 + 20%

Controller:
The Controller will lead all core accounting operations, including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll accounting, fixed assets, leases, and month-end close activities. Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting while maintaining strong internal controls and adherence to US GAAP. Oversee external audit support, compliance activities, balance sheet integrity, and risk mitigation efforts across the accounting function. Partner with finance and business leaders on complex accounting matters, financial performance analysis, and corrective action planning. Support acquisitions through accounting due diligence, purchase accounting coordination, integration planning, and implementation of standardized accounting processes. Qualifications for the
Controller:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership of accounting operations and month-end close. Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, financial reporting, and audit support within a manufacturing or project-based environment.
