This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls and compliance. The ideal candidate is a Certified Public Accountant with strong construction industry experience and a strategic mindset. Key Responsibilities Manage all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and fixed assets Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements Oversee job costing, work-in-progress reporting and revenue recognition Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections Coordinate annual audits and tax filings with external auditors and advisors Ensure compliance with GAAP, OCBOA, federal and state regulations and company policies Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to executive leadership Supervise and mentor accounting staff Assist with strategic planning, risk management and operational improvements Qualifications Active American Institute of Certified Public Accountants CPA license required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities Construction industry experience strongly preferred Thorough knowledge of GAAP and OCBOA financial reporting Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advance Microsoft Excel skills Familiarity with Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate a plus Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills Compensation and Benefits Competitive executive compensation Health, dental, vision & long-term disability insurance Retirement plan Paid time off and holidays
