full-time Divisional Controller Atlanta, GA area Hybrid/flexible work environement $150K-$160K Base + ~10% Bonus We are partnering with a large private equity backed company with a high-growth, M&A model seeking a Divisional Controller to lead accounting operations during a business-wide transformation initiative. Reporting to the SVP of Finance & Accounting, this newly created role will oversee a team of 11 and have full responsibility for accounting, financial reporting, consolidations, audit management, and process improvement across a complex, multi-entity business. Oversee accounting operations for a spotlight business Partner directly with executive leadership and key business stakeholders. Help build the processes, controls, and infrastructure to support significant future growth. Key Responsibilities Lead AR, AP, GL, month-end close, reconciliations, consolidations, and financial reporting. Manage external audits and technical accounting matters. Standardize accounting processes, controls, and reporting across multiple entities. Drive automation, systems improvements, and operational efficiencies. Develop and mentor a team of 11 accounting professionals. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive accounting experience. Prior Controller, Assistant Controller, or Divisional Controller experience. Strong U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and consolidation expertise. Experience managing external audits and multi-entity accounting environments. CPA preferred. Experience with transformation, integration, franchising, or private equity-backed businesses is a plus.
