Duties 1) Maintain accounting software and manage software updates. 2) Oversee weekly accounts payable process. 3) Reconcile General Ledger accounts and prepare monthly financial statements. 4) Review and approve employee expense reports. 5) Maintain company-wide fixed asset and depreciation listing. 6) Manage day-to-day internal cash requirements and prepare capital calls. 7) Prepare ACH transmissions for Controller approval. 8) Assists the Controller and department managers in the preparation of annual budgets. 9) Answer day-to-day financial inquiries from staff and management. 10) Administer issuance of credit cards and credit limits. 11) Supervises Accounting Assistant. 12) Assists the Controller in processing semi-monthly payroll. 13) Coordinates Company functions and charitable activities. 14) Provides administrative assistance to 3650 Facilities Engineer. 15) Creates and distributes periodic Company newsletter. 16) Duties and Responsibilities are subject to change based on the needs of the Company. Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA certification preferred. Minimum of five years' experience in accounting or finance roles with progressive responsibility; experience in public accounting or private sector corporate finance highly valued. Demonstrated expertise in financial software systems including Sage; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of GAAP. Proven ability to interpret complex financial reports and prepare detailed financial statements with clarity.
