Job Description Gripple Inc. is seeking an experienced Controller to lead the day‑to‑day accounting and financial reporting functions of Gripple Inc. This role will serve as a key business partner to the Finance Director, providing strong financial control, insightful analysis, and leadership across the accounting function to support operational and strategic decision‑making. • Financial reporting & close o Lead period-end and year‑end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with

U.S. GAAP

o Prepare and review reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and other general ledger transactions o Analyze key variances o Support Finance Director with management reporting, forecasts, and board‑level reporting inputs

• Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis o Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes alongside department leads o Support long‑range planning and capital expenditure analysis
• Controls, Compliance & Audit o Maintain and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and procedures o Lead the annual financial audit/review o Ensure compliance with sales tax, use tax, and other regulatory obligations
• Team Leadership & Process Improvement o Assist in leading and developing a team of four (AR/AP/Staff Accountants) o Drive process improvements across ERP, close efficiency, reporting, and controls o Lead rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Business Partnership o Partner with Operations, Sales, P&C, and Supply Chain to support financial decision‑making o Support working capital management, including inventory, receivables, and payables o Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Gripple's employee‑ownership culture What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred but not required)
• 6+ years of financial management and progressive accounting experience (Controller or Senior Accounting role preferred)
• Manufacturing or distribution environment experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency

• $90,000 per year (depending on experience)
