Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, following assigned routes with precision and punctuality Load and unload packages using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques to handle heavy items securely Deliver mail, parcels, and packages to residential and commercial addresses, ensuring accurate and complete deliveries Maintain route schedules by planning efficient paths to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines Interact courteously with customers, providing excellent service and addressing any delivery questions or concerns Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during route driving and package handling Skills Proven experience in delivery driving or courier roles with a focus on route driving efficiency Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Warehouse experience including load & unload procedures, heavy lifting, moving items, and operating forklifts or pallet jacks Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or drivers preferred Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is advantageous for operating certain delivery trucks Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and moving packages regularly Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards to ensure compliance at all times Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise meets exceptional service!
