Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in education supporting high school students as a School Psychologist in a dynamic environment. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to collaborate with educators and families, providing vital services to promote students' academic and emotional growth throughout the upcoming school year.
Key Qualifications:
Active Illinois School Psychologist licensure (required) Experience or strong interest in working with high school-aged students Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 30 students Demonstrated skills in assessments, counseling, and consultation within a school environment Must be available to work onsite during designated hours Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students in need of support Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans in collaboration with teachers and families Offer direct counseling services to students, fostering their social-emotional well-being Provide consultative support to staff and families regarding interventions and strategies for student success Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, acting as a resource for evidence-based practices Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with state and district guidelines This position begins August 10, 2026, and continues through May 14, 2027, with hours scheduled from 7:30AM to 3:00PM each school day.
