reviews $111,000 - $120,000 a year Fareva Morton Grove is seeking an experienced financial professional that will lead the site financial strategy, planning, and analysis. Duties will include coordination of company financial analysis, short and long term planning, project analysis, cost management, and budget management functions. This position will work closely with the General Manager and all site departments, including Manufacturing, to analyse the business, identify, and recommend actions that support company objectives and improve financial results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead all plant-level financial functions including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and monthly closing Support internal teams with any necessary analysis and information to respond to customer requests Direct and coordinate company financial planning and budget management functions. Act as liaison between plant and corporate finance, ensuring alignment of goals and reporting standards. Monitor and analyse monthly operating results against budget. Ensure Company results are properly stated in accordance with the applicable GAAP, namely
IFRS US GAAP
Assist in financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements. Ensure department readiness for annual audit by outside parties Ensure proper cost accounting is applied and analyzed
Required Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or CMA designation is a plus. 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing environment
