Position Summary Strange Engineering is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Lathe Operator with at least 2 years of CNC lathe machining experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating Mazak lathes, reading blueprints, inspecting precision parts, and maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Operate CNC Mazak lathe machines efficiently and safely Inspect finished parts and verify conformance to specifications Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and gauges Monitor machine performance and maintain quality standards Operate multiple machines when required Follow all company safety procedures and work practices Maintain a clean and organized work area Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines Qualifications Minimum 2 years of CNC lathe machining experience Experience with Mazak machines preferred Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Skilled in the use of precision measuring tools Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Self-motivated with a strong work ethic Ability to work independently and take initiative Strong verbal communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
