We are looking for a Corporate Controller who can take ownership of the accounting function and work closely with the CFO and senior leadership to support the business as it continues to expand. This is a hands-on leadership role with broad responsibility across accounting, financial reporting, tax, internal controls, and financial systems. You'll lead a small accounting team while partnering closely with plant and operational leadership to understand the business, improve processes, and provide financial information that helps drive decisions. What You'll Do Accounting & Financial Reporting Lead the monthly close and consolidation process Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting Ensure accurate financial statements and reporting in accordance with

Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures Monitor accounting standards and evaluate their impact on the business Partner with the CFO on budgets, forecasts, financial planning, and business strategy Analyze financial results and communicate key trends and insights to senior leadership Tax & Compliance Manage corporate tax activities, including federal, state, and local income taxes and sales/use tax matters Work with the outside tax firm to provide financial information and supporting documentation for tax filings Coordinate the preparation and timely completion of tax filings and payments Maintain appropriate documentation and processes to support tax compliance Accounting Operations Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely financial information Oversee cost accounting and work with operations to understand costs and variances Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules Oversee eCommerce financial activities, including revenue recognition and expense allocation Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting Controls & Systems Maintain and strengthen internal financial and operational controls Ensure appropriate internal control reporting to executive leadership and the Board of Directors Identify opportunities to improve accounting systems, processes, and reporting Provide leadership for the company's financial systems, including SAP ERP Leadership & Business Partnership Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team Establish a collaborative and accountable team environment Partner with the CFO and senior leadership on financial performance and business initiatives Work closely with plant and operations leadership to connect financial results with business performance Provide financial insight and guidance to leaders across the organization Identify challenges and opportunities and help leadership make informed business decisions What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 10+ years of progressive accounting experience Manufacturing experience, preferably within the construction products industry 5+ years of supervisory or management experience Experience with SAP ERP Experience managing corporate taxes, including federal, state, and local income taxes as well as sales/use tax issues Understanding of cost accounting within a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls Corporate Resources has been hired by our client to recruit for this open position and any/all other positions as requested and posted.
