full-time We're looking for a DC Finance Manager - PLANT
CONTROLLER
to join our team in Skokie, IL and play a key role in supporting the financial performance of a dynamic distribution operation. This is a hands-on operational finance role partnering closely with Operations and leadership, with ownership across budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cost accounting, inventory, and continuous improvement. What you'll be doing: Lead monthly financial close and financial reporting. Own budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis. Partner with Operations on financial performance, cost savings and improvement initiatives. Support inventory, standard costing and operational finance activities. Manage capital spending and business case analysis. Ensure strong financial controls and compliance. Provide financial insights and recommendations to site leadership. What we're looking for: 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, distribution, plant or operational finance. Strong background in cost accounting, budgeting and forecasting. Experience working directly with Operations and/or plant environments. Understanding of inventory, standard costing and financial variance analysis. Strong knowledge of
U.S. GAAP.
Experience with an ERP system; SAP is a plus. Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills. Someone who is curious, proactive, coachable and ready to take ownership.
