Catering & Event Coordinator Towne & Oak, a bustling cafe & private event space in Winnetka, is hiring a Part-Time Catering & Events Coordinator to assist with catering orders and executing events in our private event space. Join our team of creative and hardworking industry professionals. Pay $22.00 - $25.00 per hour base + tips Qualifications You're a multi-tasking, detail oriented professional who can seamlessly execute projects from start to finish You have excellent communication and time management skills, like to think outside the box, and enjoy a fast paced environment 1-2 years event planning/coordination Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Responsibilities Work with the Catering & Events Manager to plan/execute event details and ensure cohesive results for Towne & Oak events. The event coordinator is the on-site facility contact and is responsible for managing the setup, execution, and breakdown of events Communicate and execute event timelines with the event staff Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Uphold professional verbal and written communication to guests, restaurant, and management team members Hospitality and customer service engagement Work closely with the chef and catering & event manager to ensure all details of the event are performed
