Our culture is collaborative, fast-moving, accountable, and built around people who genuinely care about one another and the success of the business. Do GOOD. Giving back is part of who we are. We believe success means making a positive impact on our employees, customers, and communities. The Opportunity The Director, FP&A & Business Analytics is a highly visible senior finance leadership role responsible for enterprise financial planning, forecasting, business analytics, performance management, profitability analysis, and strategic decision support. This individual will serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership and work closely with Operations, Sales, Accounting, Treasury, Technology, and field leadership to understand what is happening across the business, why it is happening, and what we should do next. The Director will lead the FP&A and business analytics function and play an important role in shaping how TCC plans, measures performance, evaluates opportunities, and makes decisions. This is not simply a reporting role. We are looking for someone who can take complex financial and operational information, find the story within the data, and turn it into clear, actionable recommendations that move the business forward. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on. This person should be equally comfortable building a long-range financial model, presenting recommendations to senior executives, partnering with field leadership on store profitability, and personally digging into detailed data when something does not make sense. Success in this role requires exceptional financial acumen, intellectual curiosity, strong business judgment, analytical rigor, and a genuine desire to understand how the business works. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who wants to be part of the business, not simply report on it. What You'll Do Financial Planning, Forecasting & Strategic Decision Support Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, and ongoing performance management across the organization. Develop financial models and scenario analyses supporting revenue, profitability, labor planning, liquidity, capital allocation, acquisitions, new store investments, and other strategic initiatives. Monitor performance against budget, forecast, and prior-year results, identifying key drivers, emerging trends, risks, and opportunities. Translate financial and operational performance into clear recommendations that help leaders make better and faster decisions. Develop and present executive-level reporting for senior leadership, ownership, lenders, and other key stakeholders as appropriate. Business Analytics & Data Intelligence Extract, organize, reconcile, and analyze financial and operational data across ERP, general ledger, POS, carrier, inventory, payroll, and business intelligence systems. Connect operational metrics such as sales, traffic, commissions, labor, inventory, customer behavior, and store productivity to financial outcomes. Build and maintain scalable analytical models, dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reporting that provide a trusted view of business performance. Identify data anomalies, inconsistencies, and reconciliation issues and partner across Finance, Accounting, Technology, and Operations to drive resolution. Improve how data is defined, accessed, and used across the organization to create reliable and actionable business insight. Business Partnership & Operational Finance Serve as a strategic finance partner to executive, operational, sales, and field leadership. Evaluate store, market, and enterprise performance, including labor productivity, sales effectiveness, compensation programs, profitability, and operating efficiency. Provide financial analysis and recommendations for new stores, relocations, remodels, acquisitions, transfers, remediation plans, capital investments, and other key business decisions. Identify opportunities to improve profitability and performance and help leaders understand not only what happened, but why it happened and what action should follow. Constructively challenge assumptions and bring an objective financial perspective to strategic and operational decisions. Process Improvement & Financial Discipline Establish high standards for forecasting, management reporting, financial analysis, and data integrity. Improve reporting, reconciliation, planning, and data governance processes while reducing reliance on manual workarounds. Create scalable, repeatable, and auditable processes for forecasts, KPI tracking, management reporting, and store-level financial reviews. Ensure models and analyses are transparent, appropriately documented, and capable of standing up to executive, lender, audit, or transaction-level scrutiny. Continually identify opportunities to make the Finance function faster, smarter, and more effective. Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and develop the FP&A and business analytics team while establishing clear expectations for quality, accountability, responsiveness, and analytical rigor. Build a culture of curiosity, continuous improvement, business partnership, and actionable insight. Develop team capabilities in financial modeling, forecasting, data analysis, storytelling, and executive communication. Remain hands-on and personally engage in complex analyses or business issues when needed. Build strong relationships across the organization and create a Finance function that business leaders actively seek out as a partner.
