This role assists with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cost control, and financial support for capital and cost reduction initiatives. The position also supports inventory oversight, account reconciliations, quarterly reporting, and SOX compliance while partnering with plant and corporate leadership. Key Responsibilities Ensures compliance with local regulations, GAAP, and corporate policies and procedures Manages preparation of the period close process with a strong focus on general ledger accuracy Ensures required financial reporting is completed accurately and on time Provides ad hoc financial analysis for the Plant Controller and staff Assists with budget preparation, including financials, Khalix load, and presentation materials Supports the five-year planning process for the division Assists with monthly forecasting, modeling, and financial analysis Monitors spending and partners with department managers to control costs Researches and explains expense variances Drives continuous improvement within finance processes Provides financial analysis for capital projects, cost reduction initiatives, and other business priorities Serves as the primary metal custodian for the plant, partnering with Pt Shop and CMS to manage inventory Prepares financial presentations for monthly salaried communications meetings Validates plant financial results and communicates them to division and corporate teams Prepares the monthly management report Prepares quarterly SEC and tax reporting packages Experiences/Education - Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA in Finance preferred 5-10 years of relevant experience required Manufacturing and/or cost accounting experience preferred Background in a U.S. Big 4 public accounting firm and/or U.S. multinational corporation is preferred Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, general ledger systems, and forecasting tools Ability to analyze and interpret data and connect findings to business impact Strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills Must be willing to relocate / mobile Experiences/Education - Desired- VBA / Macro knowledge.
