- $140,000 a year 6 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Professional development assistance Flexible schedule Life insurance Qualifications CPA Manufacturing facility experience Analysis skills Bachelor's degree Financial report interpretation Attention to detail Data interpretation Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a Controller / Director of Finance to oversee multiple plant locations, oversee staff and has a good understanding of manufacturing accounting to assist growing and mid-sized private Michigan Group.
- Work with Company President and plant managers and accounting team to provide financial guidance to growing supplier.
- Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support for strategic initiatives.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and accounting standards to ensure compliance. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is plus but not a requirement. Manufacturing accounting and auto supplier exposure is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- High level of financial acumen and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and processes is a plus.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$115,000.00- $140,000.
