Job Description

Finance & Administration Manager Leadership Team Position We are looking for a capable, trustworthy, and self-directed Finance & Administration Manager to join our Leadership Team. This is a broad, hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the financial and administrative side of our company runs accurately, efficiently, and reliably. This is more than an accounting position. The right person will take ownership of Finance & Administration—working across departments, delegating where appropriate, and coordinating with outside professionals and vendors. You don't have to personally do everything, but you are accountable for making sure it gets done. What You'll Own Finance & Accounting Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash management, and banking Accurate financial records and timely financial reporting Inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and adjustments, Inventory purchasing Company credit cards, receipts, and expense documentation Coordination with our CPA and payroll partners Sales tax compliance and other financial obligations Financial and departmental Scorecard metrics HR & Administration Employee onboarding/offboarding and personnel records PTO, insurance, benefits, and routine HR administration Recruiting systems and initial candidate screening OSHA, DOT/CDL, drug testing, vehicle, insurance, and other compliance records Leadership and utilization of administrative support personnel Technology & Business Systems Serve as the internal point person for Odoo, QBMS, Microsoft 365, VOIP phones, shared files, and other business technology Coordinate with outside IT and software vendors Troubleshoot routine issues and ensure larger problems get to the right resource Help improve our Playbook Builder, processes, and administrative systems What We're Looking For You should have strong accounting and financial acumen , excellent attention to detail, and a high level of integrity. Just as importantly, you should be someone who takes ownership, follows through, solves problems, and enjoys making systems work better. Our company operates using the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) . We set measurable goals, track Scorecards, assign quarterly Rocks, and expect commitments to be completed. You should be comfortable with candid conversations, clearly defined accountability, and a culture that likes to get things done .
Strong candidates will be:
Organized, self-directed, and dependable Comfortable juggling multiple priorities Technically inclined and comfortable learning new software Able to identify issues and drive them through resolution Comfortable holding others accountable—and being held accountable Interested in improving systems rather than simply maintaining them Professional and approachable when working across departments Experience with Odoo, QBMS, Excel, manufacturing/distribution, HR administration, or basic IT troubleshooting is helpful but not required. A bachelors degree or equivalent in a business or finance field is preferred. What Success Looks Like A successful Finance & Administration Manager becomes the trusted owner of the company's administrative infrastructure. Financial information is timely and accurate. Cash and receivables are actively managed. Compliance stays current. Administrative systems work reliably. Problems are addressed before they become emergencies. Most importantly, when something falls within the Finance & Administration seat, the Leadership Team can trust that you have it handled. Base starting salary is $75,000 plus the following benefits Quarterly bonuses Performance based incentives Simple IRA matching Partial funding of employee health insurance
