The Director of Finance will oversee financial reporting, audit, controls, and reconciliation across a multi-vendor ecosystem, while partnering closely with the President and Operations to ensure scalability, accuracy, and alignment. As FCMM enters a season of growth and infrastructure development, this role offers a significant opportunity to modernize, strengthen, and help shape the future financial function of a ministry serving more than 700 churches.

Medical, Dental, Life, Disability, PFML, 403(b) match, Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off Duties Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, board-level reporting, and financial analysis to support executive decision-making. Strengthen financial infrastructure, internal controls, policies, procedures, and staff training; ensure compliance with ECFA standards, nonprofit best practices, and regulatory requirements. Lead the annual audit process, serve as primary liaison to auditors, maintain audit-ready documentation, and support fiduciary oversight of plan assets. Oversee reconciliation of plan assets across recordkeeping, custodial, and general ledger systems; ensure data integrity, accurate reporting, and resolution of exceptions. Provide financial oversight of contributions, distributions, cash flows, fee structures, and FCMM's plan-sponsored annuity, including reporting, reconciliation, and actuarial coordination. Oversee payroll operations, benefits administration, and ministerial tax considerations in partnership with vendors. Contribute to a Christ-centered, servant leadership culture and serve on the senior leadership team. Lead the development of a Senior Accountant and partner with Operations to align financial workflows. Mature and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, aligned with FCMM's mission and the EFCA Statement of Faith, with a desire to model Christ-centered leadership and support God's work through local churches. Proven financial leader with strong accounting, audit, and internal control experience, able to operate both strategically and hands-on. Experience working with external partners (auditors, vendors, financial institutions) and building effective systems and processes. Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop staff, foster accountability, and maintain a high-integrity, detail-oriented culture. CPA, Master's degree, or equivalent experience. Experience with retirement plans (403(b), 401(k), or similar). Advanced proficiency in financial reporting tools, especially Jet Reports within Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central.
