Job Description

We are looking for a Controller to join our team on a Contract basis in Kernersville, North Carolina. This role is ideal for a finance leader with deep experience guiding accounting through acquisitions, managing complex close processes, and overseeing multi-entity financial operations. The successful candidate will bring a hands-on approach, strong ownership mentality, and practical expertise with NetSuite in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead accounting activities related to acquisitions, including purchase accounting and the financial integration of newly acquired entities.
  • Oversee the month-end close process to ensure accurate reporting, timely completion, and consistency across multiple business units.
  • Manage consolidated financial reporting for multi-entity operations, maintaining strong controls and reliable financial data.
  • Direct post-close integration efforts from an accounting perspective, establishing processes that align acquired businesses with corporate standards.
  • Partner with leadership to identify financial issues early and implement practical solutions that support business objectives.
  • Use NetSuite to support accounting operations, reporting accuracy, and entity-level visibility across the organization.
  • Review and improve accounting workflows to strengthen efficiency, compliance, and scalability in an acquisitive environment.
