VP, Agricultural Banker | Oakes, ND A well-established community bank in North Dakota is seeking an experienced Agricultural Banker (VP level) to join its team in Oakes, ND. This is an excellent opportunity for a relationship-driven banking professional who understands the agricultural industry and is passionate about serving rural communities. The ideal candidate is a disciplined, customer-focused lender who thrives on building long-term relationships with agricultural producers and businesses while maintaining strong credit practices and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Develop new agricultural banking relationships while growing and servicing an existing portfolio through proactive outreach and community engagement Manage and administer agricultural loan portfolios using sound credit and financial analysis practices Ensure compliance with all internal credit standards, policies, and regulatory requirements Maintain a strong understanding of local agricultural operations, market conditions, and economic trends Deliver exceptional service by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate financial solutions Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field Experience in agricultural lending or commercial/ag banking strongly preferred Solid knowledge of credit analysis, compliance, and regulatory standards Strong decision-making ability with excellent communication and relationship-building skills Customer-first mindset with a passion for supporting agricultural communities What's Offered Competitive salary (level and officer designation based on experience) Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and HSA options 401(k) with profit sharing Annual incentive compensation opportunities Paid vacation and holidays This organization is known for its community-focused approach, strong leadership, and commitment to long-term customer relationships.
