Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Finance to partner with the CFO and help lead the continued development of our Finance organization.
This role combines Finance Operations leadership, Finance transformation, and CFO Chief of Staff support . The Senior Director will oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll while partnering with division Controllers, FP&A, Data & Analytics, Operations, and business leaders.
This is not a traditional Corporate Controller role. We need a Finance leader who can develop people, improve processes and systems, lead cross-functional initiatives, and turn priorities into execution. Key Responsibilities Lead Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll, with accountability for team performance, controls, processes, and continuous improvement. Develop Finance leaders and establish clear KPIs, service levels, ownership, and escalation paths. Improve collections, working capital, billing-to-cash performance, and Finance Operations effectiveness. Strengthen workflows, controls, documentation, capacity, and automation across Finance Operations. Partner with division Controllers while maintaining clear accountability between Finance Operations and entity-level accounting. Serve as an execution partner to the CFO, translating priorities into plans, owners, milestones, and measurable outcomes. Track key initiatives, commitments, risks, and decisions to drive follow-through. Lead cross-functional Finance and Operations projects from planning through implementation. Lead Finance transformation initiatives, including systems, automation, process redesign, reporting, data integration, and internal controls. Identify recurring operational issues and implement sustainable solutions. Improve coordination and communication across Finance, Operations, and business leadership. Required Qualifications 10+ years of progressive Finance and/or Accounting experience, including significant leadership responsibility. Experience leading Finance teams, operations, or cross-functional initiatives. Strong knowledge of accounting, financial controls, and financial reporting. Experience with FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis. Demonstrated success leading process improvement, systems implementation, or Finance transformation projects. Strong financial systems and data literacy. Proven ability to develop leaders and manage through others. Strong communication, organizational, and executive-facing skills. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications CPA, MBA, or relevant advanced credentials. Experience in construction, infrastructure, engineering, industrial services, specialty contracting, or another project-based business. Experience in a divisional, business-unit, or operational Finance leadership role.

Pay:
$135,000.00 - $175,000.00 per yearBenefits:
