We are looking for a Financial Controller to join a growing multi-entity organization in Kingston, New York on a permanent basis. This position will act as a senior finance leader, working closely with executive leadership to guide financial planning, strengthen reporting accuracy, and support informed business decisions. The role combines strategic oversight with day-to-day involvement across accounting operations, process improvement, and performance analysis to help the organization scale effectively.
Responsibilities:
Direct the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements, ensuring accurate consolidated reporting across multiple entities. Review and resolve intercompany activity to maintain reliable balances and consistent reporting between business units. Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting activities, including cash flow projections and long-range capital planning. Evaluate financial performance through variance analysis, modeling, and operational insights that support management decision-making. Establish and refine accounting policies, internal controls, and financial procedures to improve compliance, accuracy, and efficiency. Collaborate with senior leadership on financial strategy, business planning, and analysis tied to organizational growth initiatives. Supervise, develop, and mentor finance team members while promoting accountability and strong cross-functional partnership. Contribute to system implementation efforts and broader process improvement projects that enhance the finance function.
