Well‑established, growing construction firm (approx. $30-50M annual revenue ) Position Overview A rapidly growing construction company is seeking an experienced Controller with strong construction industry accounting experience. This role oversees all financial operations, reporting, and internal controls for a company generating approximately $30-50 million in annual business. Ideal for a hands‑on, detail‑driven accounting leader with deep knowledge of job costing, WIP, and construction financial workflows. Key Responsibilities Oversee all accounting operations including A/P, A/R, job costing, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting Manage month‑end and year‑end close, financial statements, and budgeting Review job cost reports, WIP schedules, and project financials Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and leadership on financial performance Work closely with external CPA firm for audits and tax filings Implement and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures Oversee and support 2+ accounting staff members Ensure compliance with construction industry standards and reporting requirements Utilize QuickBooks and other construction‑related financial systems Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Construction industry experience required (commercial preferred) 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of job costing, WIP, and construction financial workflows Experience overseeing or mentoring accounting staff Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
Pay:
$150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
