Controller

A Franklin-area manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Controller to join its executive leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this individual will play a critical role in driving financial strategy, operational accountability, and long-term business growth. The ideal candidate will have strong manufacturing finance experience and the ability to turn financial data into actionable business recommendations. Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and continuously improve standard cost accounting systems Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting processes Perform financial forecasting and long-range planning to support company objectives Oversee job costing and product costing processes to ensure operational and financial accuracy Analyze financial performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue and reduce costs Develop and maintain key financial and operational performance metrics Partner with executive leadership to support strategic planning and business decisions Support inventory accounting and manufacturing cost analysis activities Ensure compliance with accounting standards, reporting requirements, and internal controls Utilize ERP and manufacturing systems to improve reporting efficiency and financial visibility Communicate financial performance clearly to both financial and non-financial leadership teams Qualifications and Skills 5-10 years of accounting and finance experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and accrual accounting principles Previous experience within a manufacturing environment preferred Experience working with ERP systems and manufacturing financial processes Knowledge of standard costing, inventory accounting, and job costing Strong analytical, forecasting, and financial reporting skills Ability to communicate financial information in a clear and actionable manner Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required Benefits/Compensation Full Time First shift (8am - 5pm) $90k+ Salaried - based on experience Direct Placement Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts Benefits available while employed through Career Concepts Location Franklin, PA 16323 About Career Concepts Staffing Services, Inc.
