Job Description
United Way of Lancaster is hiring! We are looking for a Controller to join our Finance Team. United Way for over 100 years has brought together the financial resources of donors, the passion of community volunteers, the expertise of community partners, and the dedication of the United Way staff to create change in our community. The Controller position role is to provide financial leadership while acting in accordance with our values, vision, and mission.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting.
- Experience working with volunteers, working with Vice Chair to lead Finance Committee and to present financial reports to Board of Directors
- Track and prepare reports on the use of restricted funds and grants.
- Drive financial decisions for the best of the organization.
- Prepare month-end financial reports, annual budgets, etc.
- Oversee and work with external auditors throughout annual audit.
- Manage the performance and development of Finance Department employees
- Support organizations Strategic Plan.
