Business/Finance Manager Minimum Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degreeExperience:
Five years of relevant professional experience Salary range is $65K- 80K, commensurate with background and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in leadership of budget, financial operations, and/or financial reporting, especially in a higher education auxiliary operation setting is preferred. Proven experience working with diverse stakeholders. Proven critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Strong verbal and written communication and presentation and reporting skills. Ability to build relationships and develop internal and external partnerships. Demonstrated experience supervising, developing, and evaluating staff, including setting performance expectations, managing workloads, providing coaching and feedback. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) is required. Knowledge of continuous improvement processes are preferred. Knowledge of UVA systems, including Workday, Adaptive/Anaplan, UBI (Qlik) or NetSuite is a plus. CMA, CFA, CTP, CPA, or other relevant certifications are a plus.Director of Finance Minimum Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.Experience:
6+ years of relevant professional experience to include 2+ years of formal managerial experience required. Salary range is $85K- 100K, commensurate with background and experience.

Experience in leadership of budget, financial operations, and/or financial reporting, especially in a higher education auxiliary operation setting is preferred. Proven experience with leading competing priorities in a high-visibility office. Proven experience working with diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data to identify trends, inform decision-making, improve operational effectiveness, and develop actionable recommendations for leadership. Proven critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Strong verbal and written communication and presentation and reporting skills. Ability to build relationships and develop internal and external partnerships. Proven experience leading and managing teams, including responsibility for hiring, performance management, employee development, workforce planning, and creating an inclusive and accountable culture that supports organizational goals. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) is required. Knowledge of continuous improvement processes are preferred. Knowledge of UVA systems, including Workday, Adaptive/Anaplan, UBI (Qlik) or NetSuite is a plus. CMA, CFA, CTP, CPA, or other relevant certifications are a plus.About the position:
This is a hybrid position located in Charlottesville, VA, though it is primarily in-person, with the possibility for intermittent remote work.Compensation:
Manager- $65,000
- $80,000 per year based on education and experience Director $85,000
