The Finance Director is a strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing the enterprise's financial strategy in partnership with the Leadership Team. This role provides enterprise‑level financial insight, stewardship, and operational discipline to drive sustainable growth, profitability, and long‑term organizational health. The Finance Director leads the Finance Department with clear expectations, accountability, and a focus on continuous improvement while serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders.Essential Responsibilities:
Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing Finance team by setting clear goals, developing talent, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth. Serve as a key financial advisor to the VP of Administration and Leadership Team, providing insight on investments, risk, growth initiatives, and long‑range planning. Present financial results, forecasts, and strategic analysis to executive leadership with clarity, confidence, and business context. Own the financial systems roadmap, serving as the business leader for the Acumatica ERP finance module and Nectari data platform by partnering cross‑functionally to optimize reporting, automation, and data integrity. Lead enterprise financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis, translating financial insights into clear recommendations that inform strategic and operational decisions. Oversee daily financial operations, including cash flow management, expenditures, and financial controls. Lead general accounting functions, including journal entries, account analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and compliance withU.S. GAAP.
Align Finance Department priorities with organizational objectives, ensuring the team is positioned to support both current operations and future growth. Establish and continuously improve accounting policies, internal controls, and financial processes that ensure accuracy, compliance, and scalability as the organization grows. Direct the month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of financial data. Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring conformance with accounting standards and internal expectations. Prepare financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis, and strategic initiatives. Manage and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting and tax filings. Oversee finance‑related audits, including tax and financial audits, and serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and advisors. Perform other duties as assigned, with an expectation of proactive leadership and initiative. Partner closely with cross‑functional leaders (Sales, Retail, Operations, HR, and Marketing) to provide financial insights and operational guidance. Expand and streamline our financial processes to scale with the company's growth. Manage key banking and credit relationships.Necessary Skills:

The Finance Director reports to the VP of Administration and is accountable for the Finance Department's performance, structure, and alignment with organizational priorities. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
