Job Description

We are seeking an Interim Assistant Controller for our client, a rapidly growing technology organization, to lead the day-to-day accounting function and support the company's continued growth. This role will partner closely with executive leadership while remaining hands-on with the monthly close process, public company financial reporting, external audits, and technical accounting initiatives. The ideal candidate is a collaborative accounting leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing leadership responsibilities with day-to-day accounting execution.
Attributes:
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process Supervise and mentor a small accounting team while remaining hands-on in daily accounting operations Manage general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation Oversee external audits and coordinate with independent auditors Prepare and review public company financial reporting and supporting disclosures Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies Support technical accounting research and implementation of new accounting standards Develop and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiency Active CPA license is must have NetSuite experience is required (must-have) Public company financial reporting and month-end close leadership experience required Prior people leadership and external audit management experience required Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and excellent communication required Self-starter with the ability to collaborate across Finance and executive leadership in a fast-paced, high-growth environment If you fit this opportunity and these attributes, this could be an outstanding opportunity to make an immediate impact with a rapidly growing publicly traded organization.
