Job Overview:

Are you a manufacturing finance professional who thrives in an operational environment and enjoys driving business performance through data, analysis, and strategic partnership? We're seeking a hands-on Plant Controller to serve as the financial leader for a manufacturing operation, partnering directly with plant leadership to drive profitability, operational performance, and strategic decision-making. This is a highly visible role with significant influence over the financial health and direction of the facility. This position goes far beyond traditional accounting. You'll be the key financial business partner to operations, owning cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, inventory management, variance analysis, and financial planning while helping leadership understand the story behind the numbers.

What You'll Own:

Plant P&L performance and financial reporting Manufacturing cost accounting and product costing Annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Labor, material, overhead, and production variance analysis Inventory controls, valuation, and accuracy initiatives Cost reduction and profitability improvement projects Capital investment and ROI analysis Financial support for new product introductions Leadership and development of plant finance and inventory teams

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of manufacturing accounting, cost accounting, or plant finance experience Prior leadership experience managing accounting or finance personnel Strong background in:

Cost Accounting Inventory Accounting Budgeting & Forecasting Financial Analysis Manufacturing Operations Variance Analysis KPI & Performance Reporting Why This Opportunity Stands Out:
