About the Opportunity A growing global manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting and financial operations for its North American business. This is a highly visible leadership role partnering closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership to drive financial performance, cost optimization, and strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong manufacturing accounting experience, including cost accounting, inventory management, financial reporting, and business partnering within a production environment. After a successful onboarding period, this position offers a hybrid schedule with two remote workdays per week. What You'll Do Lead all accounting operations including general ledger, AP, AR, fixed assets, and financial reporting. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Prepare financial statements and management reporting packages. Oversee manufacturing cost accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis. Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Manage inventory accounting, cycle counts, physical inventory processes, and inventory controls. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Develop and monitor key financial and operational KPIs. Coordinate annual audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational excellence. Serve as a strategic financial advisor to leadership. QualificationsRequired Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience. 5+ years of manufacturing accounting experience. Strong cost accounting and inventory management expertise. Experience supporting manufacturing operations and production environments. Advanced Excel skills. Experience with ERP systems. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Preferred CPA, CMA, or MBA. Experience in a global manufacturing environment. Experience supporting multiple locations. Pay:
$85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
