Job Description

The Vice President, Strategic Accounts owns the expansion and reach of BluSky's national enterprise relationships. This leader sets the vision for how BluSky grows its largest accounts and turns national agreements into partnerships that extend into every market our clients operate in. Building and developing the team that delivers this growth is central to the role. Leading a team of Managing Directors who each own a portfolio of national strategic accounts, the VP drives revenue growth and accelerates the activation of Master Service Agreements (MSA) / national contracts into site-level revenue, and expands share of wallet across BluSky's most critical clients. The VP sets portfolio strategy, installs operating discipline, and personally manages and grows some of BluSky's most senior executive client relationships.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership & Management Set and champion the vision for the Strategic Account Management team, defining how BluSky engages its largest clients and what a best-in-class national account organization looks like Build, lead, and develop the Strategic Account Management team, including the Managing Directors who each own a portfolio of national strategic accounts Set goals, coverage, and account assignments across the team to maximize growth and activation Coach the team on account planning, deal strategy, and executive engagement to strengthen execution capability Manage team performance against revenue, activation, and pipeline targets, holding a high bar for accountability Recruit top talent and build succession depth to support continued scale Strategic Account Portfolio Growth Own the aggregate revenue and margin performance of BluSky's national strategic account portfolio Drive expansion of share of wallet through cross-sell, repeat business, and strategic positioning across the team's accounts Leverage BluSky's full service platform

  • to deepen the value and breadth of each account relationship Set portfolio strategy and prioritization to focus the team's effort on the highest-ROI accounts and opportunities MSA Activation & Enterprise-to-Local Execution Drive disciplined activation of MSAs into repeatable, site-level revenue across properties and markets Partner with regional sales and operations teams to translate national account strategy into local execution Remove barriers to activation and accelerate speed-to-revenue across the portfolio Ensure account onboarding and transition management for new wins delivers day-one readiness and a seamless client experience Executive Relationship Management Engage directly at senior levels of BluSky's largest and most strategic accounts across ownership, asset management, and operations Establish BluSky as a preferred partner through consistent executive engagement and value delivery Establish client governance frameworks•relationship matrices, executive engagement cadences, and strategic account plans•to ensure proactive account stewardship Leverage national relationships to influence local buying decisions and project flow Pipeline & Operating Discipline Own pipeline health and forecast accuracy across the team within CRM Install and enforce consistent account planning, sales, and activation standards across the portfolio Develop KPI dashboards and reporting that improve transparency and accountability Ensure financial discipline across accounts, including contract compliance, revenue recognition, and timely resolution of billing or collections issues Cross-Functional Leadership & Market Presence Act as a cross-functional leader across sales, operations, marketing, and finance to drive alignment and a consistent client experience Contribute to the development of scalable strategic account management and sales practices Strengthen BluSky's presence with key industry associations, CRE aggregators, and networks to unlock growth Represent BluSky at targeted events to drive brand visibility and opportunity generation
SUCCESS MEASURES
Revenue and margin growth across the national strategic account portfolio MSA activation rates and conversion to recurring, site-level revenue Expansion of share of wallet within key accounts Team performance against individual and portfolio targets Pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and conversion rates Strength, retention, and development of the Managing Director team Account retention rate and protection of revenue across Tier 1 and high-value accounts
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
Directly leads and manages the Strategic Account Management team, including the Managing Directors, Strategic Accounts, and provides cross-functional leadership across sales and operations to drive execution, alignment, and performance across the strategic account portfolio.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
8+ years in strategic account management or enterprise sales, including direct leadership of account management or quota-carrying teams Proven track record building and leading high-performing teams while growing national or multi-market account portfolios Strong executive presence and relationship management skills at the ownership, asset management, and operator level Deep familiarity with how ownership groups, asset managers, and operators make buying decisions across multi-site portfolios, gained through experience in commercial real estate, property management, facilities services, construction, or restoration Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic growth plans, install operating discipline, and lead cross-functional execution across regional or field-based teams Proficiency managing pipeline, forecasting, and account activity within CRM platforms Existing relationships with national CRE operators, property management firms, REITs, or ownership/asset management groups strongly preferred
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.

TRAVEL:
Travel required to support national account coverage and client engagement; frequency expected to be moderate to significant and will vary based on business needs.
