This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership, contribute to process improvements, and help ensure accurate and timely financial management. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and experienced in a fast-paced accounting environment. Key Responsibilities - Assistant Controller Assist in managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities Monitor compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Assist with audit preparation and coordinate requests from external auditors Review general ledger activity and ensure accuracy of financial records Supervise and mentor accounting staff as needed Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency Qualifications - Assistant Controller Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience required Prior experience in a senior accounting, accounting manager, or assistant controller role preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems CPA designation preferred but not required Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment EB-1507254008
