Job Description

Atelier Business Collective (ABC) is a newly formed managed services company supporting four existing LLCs under common ownership. ABC will also provide accounting, business services, and consulting to select external clients. This position will support and guide the financial strategies of the four existing entities and their owners, as well as lead the onboarding of new accounting clients. A summary of job responsibilities is as follows:
  • Handle all financial processing, reporting, and management for R2R Studio, Sketchbook Design Co., Hardin Valley Loft Offices (HVLO), and Hardin Valley Professional Park (HVPP).
  • Assist with budget development and analyze financial trends for all entities.
  • Collaborate with leadership of each entity to manage each organization's financial duties and responsibilities successfully.
  • Maintain the general ledger by recording all income and expenses for each entity.
  • Reconcile general ledger and credit card accounts for each entity.
  • Prepare profit-and-loss statements for each entity.
  • Prepare income statements for each entity.
  • Track billable and non-billable time monthly for R2R studio.
  • Manage payrolls for each entity (approximately 15 people total).
  • Prepare quarterly tax filings and payments for each entity.
  • Manage invoicing for R2R Studio, Sketchbook Design Co., HVLO, and HVPP.
  • Maintain licenses, registered agent records, business licenses, and registrations in other states for design professionals within R2R studio.
  • Prepare and maintain new-hire forms and documentation for applicable entities.
  • Manage Unanet (accounting/timesheet) software for R2R studio.
  • Manage QuickBooks software for other entities, existing and new entities.
  • File all required Tennessee state tax forms for applicable entities.
  • Conduct project forecasting in collaboration with the R2R Studio's Office Manager and Principals.
  • Manage HVLO rent collection, renew lease agreements, and perform the entity's other administrative duties.
  • Manage the administrative duties and required actions of HVPP.
  • Assist the Owner and Principals with asset leveraging, liability payoffs, equipment and furnishing upgrades and depreciation, and the evaluation of new enterprises and opportunities.
  • Supervise future accounting professionals as needed to support ABC's business operations successfully.
The interview process will provide additional information related to the position and the culture in which the job will be performed. This is a full-time position and the salary starts at $88,000.
Minimum experience:
5-7 years of experience with a Master of Accounting or similar advanced degree. CPA is preferred but not mandatory.
