Controller (or Controller-Ready Accounting Leader)

Industrial We are partnering with a growing industrial distribution company to identify a Controller or high-potential Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager ready to step into a Controller role. This is a hands-on leadership position with strong visibility to ownership and operations.

What You'll Do:

• Own the full-cycle accounting function including month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger oversight
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support business decisions
• Lead cash flow management, AP/AR oversight, and internal controls
• Partner with leadership on operational and financial strategy, including cost analysis and margin improvement
• Support audits, tax coordination, and compliance requirements
• Help build scalable processes as the company continues to grow

What We're Looking For:

• ~5+ years of progressive accounting experience (public + industry or strong industry background)
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments preferred
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, GAAP, and internal controls
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar a plus)
• CPA or MBA preferred but not required
• Accounting Degree Required
• Someone who is hands-on, business-minded, and ready to step into (or grow into) a Controller role
