full-time National Lenders (NLGA) is a rapidly growing risk management solutions group servicing independent automotive dealerships and finance companies for their insurance needs, specializing in force-placed Contractual Protection Insurance (CPI) and Retail F&I Products. Headquartered in Houston, TX, National Lenders is part of MEI Group USA and has a strong presence across Texas with rapid expansion into new states underway. We are searching for a talented and progressive finance professional to direct all company financial operations and build the finance capabilities necessary to support extreme growth. This is a senior finance leadership role based in the Houston, TX (Clearlake area) reporting directly to the COO, leading the Controller and providing onsite leadership across the corporate office. The Director of Finance will own financial reporting, accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, compliance, and audit, while building out data-driven capabilities that support company decisions on pricing, deal structures, cash flow, profit, default risk, and growth targets. Responsibilities Direct all finance-related operations, including financial reporting, accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, compliance, and audit Lead direct reports including the Controller, with indirect onsite leadership across the corporate office Build out data-based FP&A capabilities to support decisions on pricing, deal structures, cash flow, profit, default risk, and growth targets Continue building required regulatory protocols, compliance programs, and an internal audit framework Design, build, and produce standardized forecasts and other analysis for the executive team Maintain a comprehensive schedule of all required regulatory and tax registrations, renewals, and filings Recruit, train, and mentor new talent for the finance organization Develop a positive, performance-based culture in the finance organization (SOPs, metrics, scorecards, process and technology improvements) Build and nurture positive internal and external business relationships that strengthen department and company capabilities Identify and sponsor solutions that improve cash flow, control expenses, and increase profit Identify and address potential financial risks for the company Qualifications 8+ years of finance and accounting experience 5+ years of management experience 3+ years of insurance industry experience CPA (Texas) or MBA preferred Public accounting experience a plus
