We are seeking an Assistant Controller to help lead day to day accounting operations, oversee the close process, and support financial reporting integrity out of our Frisco, TX headquarters. What You'll Own Oversee and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activities prepared by the accounting team Lead and manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process, including financial statements, variance analysis, and reporting timelines Own the relationship with internal and external auditors, coordinating schedules, documentation, and inquiry responses Review account balances and financial transactions to identify discrepancies, assess risk, and drive corrective action Oversee tax filings, regulatory reporting, and compliance documentation Partner cross-functionally with operations and finance leadership to ensure accurate reporting of revenues, expenses, and capital assets Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, including Senior Staff and Staff Accountants Help design, implement, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies across a multisite platform Lead system upgrades and process improvement initiatives, partnering closely with the Controller What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA required or in progress strongly preferred 6 to 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory experience, in a corporate or healthcare environment Strong command of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls, with the judgment to make and defend accounting decisions Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills Experience in multisite healthcare, familiarity with RCM revenue recognition, and ERP systems such as NetSuite required Why This Role Onsite role at AllerVie's Frisco, TX headquarters, working closely with the Controller and finance leadership team High-visibility role with direct exposure to a complex, high-growth healthcare platform Path for continued growth within a scaling finance organization Competitive compensation
