Manager Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year Job Details -

Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing and managing all aspects of our accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. 2. Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances. 3. Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements. 4. Coordinating the preparation of regulatory reporting. 5. Researching technical accounting issues for compliance. 6. Supporting month-end and year-end close processes. 7. Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. 8. Managing and complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. 9. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. 10. Participating in ERP implementation projects, providing guidance and expertise on best practices and potential risks.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Controller position, candidates must possess the following qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or MBA is highly preferred. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably within the manufacturing industry. 3. Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations. 4. In-depth experience in ERP implementation, manufacturing accounting, financials, fixed assets, annual budget, and financial statements. 5. High attention to detail and accuracy. 6. Ability to direct and supervise. 7. Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel. 8. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. 9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
